Nike "Futro" Pack References China's Space Program 


Commemorating China’s success in its spaceflight program, Nike has released a pack of trainers which celebrate China’s first human space mission which took place in 2003, the Shenzhou 3. The trainer features black, red and blue which portrays the colors of space. 

Included in this pack are the Nike Air Max 720 trainers, which express a flame visual on the upper side coupled with a translucent air bubble of a bluish shade. The other shoe is the Air Max Tailwind IV presenting the spacesuits used on the mission by incorporating silver and blue tone of colors. The third pair is Nike P-6000. A creative upgrade to the Nike Air Pegasus that aims to mimic China’s success in space programs. 

The Nike Futro pack is expected to drop out in all stores by the 1st of September while currently, they are only available in all Nike stores in Beijing.
